10-17 Triage

Let us Help

If you have been referred to Triage that means you have committed an offence that was against the law and so arrestable. The police sergeant in Cardiff Bay Police station believes you have made a great start in admitting the offence so they have referred you to the Triage team.

The Triage team consists of youth workers who are there to offer you and your family support, information and advice to try and prevent you committing an offence again. All their biographies can be seen on this website under Our Staff.

We believe that it is better to work with the Triage team as it means you will not get a criminal record. This is very important for your future as it could prevent you in the future securing certain jobs, cause problems travelling to some countries and entering university or college. But it’s your decision no one will force you to do anything that you don’t wish to do.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact a member of the Triage team on 02920 667668.
