Our Backgrounds and Aspirations
Here at MAC we employ people with very diverse backgrounds and skill sets. All have the same value base and ethos which is to support young people to make better, more positive choices. The team usually comprises of a mix of trained teachers, youth workers, social workers, music industry professionals and counsellors. 30% of our work force will always be young people- we believe that if we are true to our value base then we should always offer talented young people employment opportunities when we are able to.
The diversity in our team allows us to take a very unique approach to looking after the well being and education of the young people who are with us. We believe we are 'fit for purpose' when it comes to identifying and then supporting the needs of children, young people and their families.
On all roles that work with young people we insist on a young person's panel to compliment the recruitment process, anybody that works for MAC needs to have the endorsement of the talented individuals who access any of the MAC services.
Working at MAC is undoubtedly challenging and demanding, but we love it!
