10-17 Divert (Criminal Justice Diversion) Case Manager (Cardiff)

Project Outline:

MAC is able to offer the opportunity to be part of its criminal justice diversion project.  Your role, facilitated through on the job training and development, will be to work in a small, talented team directly with young people aged 10-17 who have been arrested for low-level offences in Cardiff. The primary aim of the roles is to reduce the risk of re-offending through delivering bespoke interventions and support. The job is highly challenging and demanding but equally rewarding.  

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in youth work and share our vision in supporting young people to live safe and meaningful lives. Full training, including formal youth work qualifications, will be provided.

  • Salary scale: £19-23,000 per annum 
  • Hours/Days: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with some evening and weekend working)
  • Term: Cardiff position – Fixed Term to 31 March 2022
  • Main base: Cardiff
