Proposed implementation of a new Youth Justice Bill

Last year, young people from MAC were asked to speak with Welsh Government officials on the proposed implementation of a new Youth Justice Bill looking at prevention and diversion of young people away from the criminal justice system. Following completion the minister for Local Government and Government Business has decided to introduce a stand alone Youth Justice Bill which means vulnerable young people will be better supported to be diverted away from the CJS.
